Do I need to soak dals before cooking?
Whole pulses like rajma, kabuli chana, kala chana and whole moong cook best after soaking for 6–8 hours. Split dals like moong, masoor and toor only need a rinse and about 30 minutes of soaking.
Are your dals polished?
No. Our dals are unpolished, so there is no oil, wax or colour coating. They may look less shiny than market dal, and that is how natural dal looks.
